60’s Doodles

I’ve been on a sixties kick lately, perhaps because my hair has grown out enough that now I can play with some long-hair styles. I’ve been looking to some sixties icons like Brigitte Bardot for styling tips; and, because I am unable to help myself, drawing such icons as well.

Here’s my doodle of Brigitte:

I got the shape of her face all wrong. But look – look! – at how well I did her hair.

And here is a very, very, very quick doodle of two 60’s girls running happily along:

I really dig those low pigtails; I’ll probably be doing my hair in those pretty soon. It’s a pain ratting the back up, but it’s worth it.
